About This Item
Our 2019 Valera is a French style GSM with a bit of Texas in the Tempranillo. It is composed of Syrah 76%, 12% Grenache, 7% Mouvedre, 5% Tempranillo and harvested in August and Sept of 2019; and August of 2020 for Tempranillo.
Vinification: All stainless steel tank, Syrah and Grenache underwent extended maceration of 3 weeks on the skins
Aging: 30 and 18 months aging in puncheon and barrel, 30% new French Oak
Cases: 330
Taste: sweet perfumed nose, candied red fruit on the palate with cherry, pomegranate and cranberry, silky tannins and good acidity
